We need your generous financial support to continue to live out our mission to positively impact the lives of our local youth by providing educational programs that build character, instill life-enhancing values, and promote future potential through the game of golf. First Tee – Benton Harbor is growing and thriving because of generous support from individuals and organizations. Financial support helps us keep program fees affordable and meet the demand for our programs.
- First Tee – Benton Harbor expects to serve over 750 participants in classes and over 3,000 youth in outreach (National Schools Program, etc) in 2023.
- First Tee – Benton Harbor is very grateful and appreciative of the great support that we continue to receive, but there is still much to be accomplished.
Become a volunteer or coach!
We need more than coaches to make First Tee possible. Our chapters rely on volunteers — sometimes year-round — to accomplish our mission, and not all of those goals involve golf. Most chapters need support off the course as well. These opportunities include:
- Fundraising/Events
- Operations/Administration
- Mentoring/Tutoring
- In-school program support
By contributing your time and talent, you can directly make an impact in a child’s life.

Matching Gifts – Make Your Donation Go Further
Many companies have a matching gift program; you give an amount and they donate the same. All you have to do is ask… Here’s how you can double or triple your impact in your community. There are two ways to submit the matching request:
a) Download your company’s matching gift verification form using the provided link. Print it, fill it out and mail it to us.
b) If your company provides a link to their intranet, use this to log in and submit your matching gift request to them. They’ll process this and send it to us.
Once we receive your form or online request, we’ll take care of the rest. Your company will send its matching donation directly to First Tee and support will help twice (or even three times) as many people.
